BARKERS ISLAND MARINA

AMI provided structural engineering mechanical engineering, and electrical design services to upgrade Barkers Island Marina for the City of Superior. AMI upgraded two (38) slip floating dock structures. AMI was also hired for project management including contractor oversight as well as contract and cost management.

For this project, AMI reused the existing dock frames, replaced the wood decking, replaced dock anchorages, and upgraded the electrical and plumbing to meet specifications and the needs of modern boat designs. AMI also phased the project work during the winter as to not interfere with the boating season and to allow the contractor to work off the ice.
