Woodstock Bay Officially Opens to the Public!

We’re excited to announce that Woodstock Bay is now open for everyone to enjoy! Initial planning and design began in 2019 with AMI Consulting Engineers, and our sister company, Nordic Group, Inc., completed the waterfront construction earlier this summer in June.

On September 5th, the City of Superior, along with City Council members and Mayor Jim Paine, hosted a grand opening ceremony for the park. The event featured live music from the band Similar Dogs and provided visitors with the chance to experience the newly installed kayak and canoe launch, thanks to kayaks provided by the St. Louis River Alliance.

The park boasts ADA-compliant looping paths, a chair swing, three scenic overlooks, and a variety of other amenities. It was truly inspiring to see the community embrace the years of hard work from AMI and Nordic in renovating Woodstock Bay. It was a day to remember!
