FOREST LODGE BOATHOUSE LAKE NAMEKAGON
AMI played a vital part in reviving this historic Forest Lodge Boathouse for the U.S. Forest Service. Nestled on Lake Namekagon's south shore in Bayfield County, Wisconsin, this property includes 15 charming log buildings on a 50-acre parcel.
The two-story recreational boathouse near the Main Lodge, urgently needing stability. The AMI team determined boring locations for geotechnical exploration and derived a series of building foundation rehabilitation options based on the geotechnical findings.
AMI performed an underwater and complete investigation to determine current conditions of the supporting crib and stone supports.
A report detailing all the rehabilitation options was provided to the U.S. Forest Service.
